4 months and going strong

Its been a while since I posted anything new.....I have been so busy. My little man is now (at last dr appt) 13 lbs 13 oz and 25 in long and he is babbling like crazy! Every night for the past 2 weeks he has awoken at some point in the wee hours of the morn and rolled over and started babbling until he falls back asleep (which could take hours!). This is an interesting time to say the least. He is now eating baby cereals and a few fruits and veggies. He likes to eat! He actually plays a little now. He is working on trying to hold things in his hands and shake them or just hold them for a min and then drop them. Its cool to see how he is growing and changin everyday but its also like being on a rollercoaster ride and I am looking forward to the day when things slllllooooooowwwwww down :)

Well James has been sleeping for longer stretches at night :) Sometimes its 5 hours but we've had a few 6 hour and even a couple 7 hour nights! WOOOOHHHHOOOOOOO!!!! I love it!

2 month appt

Well today was my little monster's 2 month appt. TAAAAADDDDAAAAA He now weighs 11 lbs and 5 oz and is 22 inches long :)))))) He is getting so big. lol I had the nurse measure him 2x because her first measurement was 21 inches and I knew that couldn't be right. He measured 21 inches a month ago. The doctor said he was perfect and then gave my lil man 3 shots. He cried and so did I. Geez I hate shot day! He came home and slept for a long time. Poor sweet tuckered out little monster :)

My new obsession is couponing after watching Extreme Couponing on TLC. I have been checking out various sites and I have come up with some really good ones.

I have been signing up for free samples and coupons for products that I use and even some new ones that I am eager to try. 

Okay. So I'm gonna try my hand at this blogging thing. Lets see. Where do I start??? Well I am a stay at home mom and I just had my second child. There is an 8 year gap between my children. Yes I said 8. It has definitely been challenging. lol Maybe thats an understatement. I am still not used to not getting a full nights rest even after 7 weeks. Some days I think to myself, "Yes this could be the night that he sleeps through the night." Other days I am like, "Yeah right, he's never gonna sleep through the night." It has definitely been a major adjustment, but the little moments make it all worthwhile. I was trying to play with my son this morning (I say try because they really dont play at 7 weeks old) and he looked at me and cooed and then smiled real big. Yes people I saw dimples. :) My heart soared! In that moment I felt renewed and thought to myself, "I can sooo do this." So that's what I am going to do. I am just going to breathe and live and just do it.
